But otherwise my iPhone, which is in a plastic case, fits snug and well. As mentioned, my iPhone is in a plastic case, so the touchscreen doesn't always activate through this carrier's clear plastic cover, but it works most of the time. I had to poke a tiny hole in the neoprene for the iPhone earphone jack since its location is different than the iPod's. It is true that when cinched snug around your waist you can't even feel this while running.
It comes with a couple of zipper pockets that you can use to store the headphones after use or to carry some money and keys while working out it's too big for it, it's just the right fit for the ipod video. This is a very good case for and ipod video, it fits properly with some space left. Don't buy it for an ipod nano. I can even insert my ipod in its rubber case.
As a big guy, I was a bit concerned that I would feel constrained while working out with this product, but that was not the case at all. Overall, I would recomend this product over the armband variety. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised at the level of comfort with this product. I have a 60 GB Ipod, and it fit quite comfortably, and the band stretches to work with your body's motion.
It was just too tight for the color screen iPod. It looks good and fits well but it's just not 'user-friendly'. This would be probably be best for a mini. After working hard to squeeze it in, I had to pull it back out to make any selections on the iPod.
